Information Services
Implementing distributed technologies can be challenging, especially when organizations
have to manage complex information technology projects while running their everyday
business. This is one reason why Resolutions Enterprises provides as much information
as it can on a variety of IT topics. Much of this information is freely available
to everyone.
As book authors, Resolutions’ contributors,
Danielle Ruest and Nelson Ruest, have tried to cover aspects of information
systems that need demystification. Their books include:
- Windows Server 2003 Pocket Administrator, an everyday systems
administration guide whose main goal is not only the simplification of administrative
tasks, but also the organization of daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc task
schedules.
- Definitive Guide to Vista Migration, a
discussion on mastering PC operating system deployments once and for all.
This eBook covers every aspect of a PC migration from preparing the business case to finishing the deployment.
Though many of these books address the enterprise, their principles are applicable
to organizations of all sizes.
As magazine authors, Resolutions’ contributors,
Danielle Ruest and Nelson Ruest, try to cover a broad range of topics organizations
need to deal with on an ongoing basis. The Ruest write for several publications, the list of which can be found on the Articles page. Their goal is to help systems administrators simplify their tasks through simple and straightforward discussions of technology.
Resolutions also writes articles in French.
As conference speakers, Resolutions’ contributors, provide both presentations
demystifying technological concepts or new products and full-day training programs
on specific technologies. Their most recent full-day
program is a companion program to the Ruests’ second title, Windows
Server 2003, Best Practices for Enterprise Deployments, and helps organizations
learn how to move from outdated Windows technologies to Windows Server 2003.
Finally, as Microsoft Certified Trainers, Resolutions’ staff helps organizations
learn how to master Microsoft technologies of all types. Training programs include
private, on-site programs or public programs provided through partner training
organizations. To contact Resolutions’ trainers, click
